The story behind the name
Hi, my name is Nathan and I am a womb survivor. In 2015 I painted this piece, Love in Full Bloom, and immediately signed it -
Norma Nathan. You see, Norma is the name of my twin sister. She only survived a short time after being born. I was the only survivor that lived on.
Signing it naturally for the first time as Norma Nathan helped me to acknowledge her presence that lives in every piece of my art.
FEATURED ART
Spending 9 crucial and formative months of my life with Norma created a strong connection with her, and without her, there has been a huge void in my life.
My art fills this profound void, and I feel privileged to be able to share our story with you. When you purchase my art you are sharing in the connection between me and my sister, Norma.
